Mango Sticky Rice

MangoOne of our next projects for importing a food item into United States will be Frozen Mango Sticky Rice, most likely product from Thailand.  If you have never had the opportunity  to have visited Thailand and indulge in mango sticky rice, then  I suggest that you go to your local Thai restaurant and give it a try.  The mango they use will be from Mexico, Central America or South America and will be okay but this mango can’t stand up to the flavor and sweetness of the mango from South East Asia, hence our efforts are on Thailand.  Of course we have to convince our customer, the supermarkets, that the general public will accept it and is worthy of frozen shelf space.  The high  quality mango from Thailand will be more expensive then local product but for the sophisticated connoisseur it will be a treat to have the ability to serve to their special guest.  Let’s see if we can achieve one of our many goals.
